Manor Solomon’s first words as a Tottenham player after transfer confirmed

New Tottenham Hotspur signing Manor Solomon has delivered his first message as a Spurs player after confirmation of his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk

Manor Solomon has shared his first message as a Tottenham Hotspur player.

The winger has become the club’s fifth signing of the summer, following his free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk. Solomon captured the attention of English football fans during his loan spell with Fulham last season, where he scored in five consecutive games across all competitions.

Writing on Twitter, Solomon said: “I’m so delighted and excited to be joining this fantastic football club. It’s truly an honour to be here and I can’t wait to get started. To dare is to do!”

“A big thank you to the club, my teammates, and the fans,” he said. “We’ve made some great memories together! Wishing all the best to Shakhtar and everyone in Ukraine.”

The winger will have the chance to line up against his old teammates next month, when Spurs host Shakhtar at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 6.
